Creams for Scones
These decadent additions will really add some life to your scones.
try them out at your next afternoon tea. They are quick to make and are
really delicious!
Chocolate Nut Cream
First, toast ˝ cup of pecans for around 10 minutes. Chop the toasted
pecans into small pieces, and mix into 1 cup of whipping cream. Finish
off the mixture with 1/3 cup grated chocolate, preferably dark.
Creamy Yogurt Spread
Start with ˝ cup of cream, 2 teaspoons of freshly grated orange rind,
and 1 tablespoon of honey. Beat everything together until the mixture is
somewhat stiff. Then, fold in 2/3 cup of thick, plain yogurt.
Fruity Vanilla Cream
Mix 1 cup of cream with 2 tablespoons vanilla sugar and stir until
stiff. Then, fold in 1/3 cup of your favorite fruit pulp.

Raspberry Cream
For this one, simply beat together 2/3 cup whipping cream, 2
tablespoons confectioners’ sugar, and 1 cup of crushed raspberries.
